Margot Helen Tenenbaum....

To all of my readers!! I have missed you! The holiday was so wonderful!! Lot's of party going, friend seeing and most of all, my favoritest part!!!!! Prezzie opening! My husband was so amazing, he went on Aunt Anna's Etsy site Vintagous and picked out some of the most gorgeous pieces which I will photograph and post soon :) How was your holiday!? Did you all get lots of great prezzies!?
Sooo, the story of this coat issss, I have been desperately searching high and low for a faux fur I liked. A lot of them weren't cute hahaha, then as Bobby and I were walking to meet our friends Christmas day we passed Forever 21....and there she was, gleaming brilliantly in the front window, behind locked doors. I smooshed my face up and against the window and purred "that's the one". Hahahaha, my poor darling husband, he looked like he was going to cry because when I want something very little if anything is able to stand in my way.  I'm pretty sure he thought he'd be bailing me out of jail for breaking down the Forever 21 window.  I'm not that crazy! I patiently waited till the next day and ran to Forever 21 at 11 am in the snow storm (the snow storm pictures are posted above)....there was some additional  drama surrounding the coat, but as usual my husband saves the day and did everything in his power to attain it for me. The man is a saint. The Royal Tenenbaums being one of my favorite movies of all time made having this coat a necessity. I'm in love with Margot Tenenbaum....So moody yet so simply stylish.

WORD-word!

This hat is where its at!! So warm, so cozy! I got it in Williamsburg at a store called Peach Frog.  They have all designer items for super cheap.  Kinda like if Overstock.com had a store. The skirt that I'm wearing is from The W Hotels The Store, my wool jacket which is beyond warm and in great condition is from the salvation army.  I made the white t out of another white t hahaha and of course my Zoe boots are in there.

Thats Le Husbanditto!!
Ohhhh, everyone is listening intently!
Oh hey you guys!!

My husbanditto le Robert Tumas; amazing fiction writer, book and theater critic extraordinaire had a reading for some of his fiction that was published in Stretch Magazine the other night at WORD Book Store in Greenpoint.....longest sentence ever? It was such great fun!! Wine, great readings, and course what would the evening be without a little Shakespeare performed by our friends James and Jeff...I'm not sure who the third guy is hehehehe...if anyone knows who the mystery man is lemme know.

With a little bit of love & care..

Some time back I found this great chair on the street. As any New Yorker would do I looked for signs of the dreaded bug...yup, the bed bug, but was happy to find a small stick it note that said "no bed bugs, please take".... and so I did.  I brought it home wiped it down and used a pillow case to cover the seat, I decided that I loved the chabby chic finish so not repainting this baby. Now it sits in my hallway and greets me as soon as I come home.  It's such a wonderful reminder how one mans trash is another's treasure.

Vintage Gold.....

VINTAGE GOLD

This is a lovely little gold number I got recently, perfect for holiday parties.

Fairy princess magical headbands...

I am utterly in love with headbands! They are such a great way to splash a little cuteness into any outfit. This particular ensemble is more relaxed hippie chic. Top is American Apparel, the skirt is Target and the headband is from The W Hotels The Store. The necklace directly above has some adorable little charms that I got from The Brooklyn Charm, great little shop in Williamsburg where you can make your own jewelry!! Shout out to the owner Tracy!!

And with snow on the ground....

I got this patterned top from Buffalo Exchange the other day and love, love, love it!! My new bib necklace is from Amazon and not too shabby either. I threw on my trusty Zoe boots and twisted a knot on top of my head, secured it with some bobby pins and my outfit was complete! It was far too cold outside to wear this out so I stayed inside and worked on some editing today. I love that there's snow on the ground and I kinda can't wait for more :)
